World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches was given birth, February 24, 2018, in the heart of Africa near Nairobi, Kenya. Four Moravian bishops with co-leadership by Bishop Emmaus Mwamakula and Bishop Nicholson led the global organizational efforts for an “undefiled and evangelical movement”.
The bishops shown in purple attire (in the front row of photo from left to right) are Bishop Emmaus Mwamakula – Tanzania, Bishop Paul Kabaiya – Kenya, Bishop William Nicholson – United States, and Bishop Odongo Mario Arabous – Uganda. Along with the Bishops, the Superintendent of Allied Mission Church in the Philippines and Cambodia, Rev. George Lee, participated in discussion leading to this historic event.
This movement is a fellowship of over 70 Moravian churches from seven nations including the Philippines, Cambodia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, United States, and with three churches under UAMM in Honduras.
Note: The following information shows creation of a new Moravian organization but not in anyway affiliated with the Moravian World-wide Unity. It is a separate unaffiliated entity with Moravian Heritage through Count Zinzendorf’s Legacy.
